The official swim waves will be posted race week

USAT Age Groups

Age groups will be divided into USAT format, 5 years of separation between each group. Ages round up to your end of year age.

19 and under

This is a USAT sanctioned event that adheres to all USAT event rules and regulations

Weather Contingency

If there is lightning or a significant amount of rain the race will be delayed. If the weather does not clear up in a reasonable amount of time the race will be canceled.

There are no refunds for a canceled race due to weather.

2 Transition Area System

The St. Elizabeth Triathlon will feature two transition areas. The first transition area (TA1) will be located at the top of the Swim Exit hill where athletes will gather their bikes.

The second transition area (TA2) will be located in Downtown Williamstown where athletes will drop off their bikes before hitting the run course. This transition area will be open early in the morning to leave plenty of time to set up run course necessities such as running shoes.

Once set up in TA2, athletes will ride their bikes to the swim start staging area to set up their bikes in TA1. No cars will be allowed at TA1 and no “night before" bike drop-of will be offered. Athletes will need to plan their morning accordingly to ensure they have enough time to get from TA2 to TA1 before the transition area closes.

Every athlete will receive a large plastic bag that coordinates with his or her bib number. Place everything that will not be traveling on the bike course in the bag. Event staff will bring the bags from TA1 to the Finish Line Staging area where athletes, with the proper bib number, will be able to collect their belongings.

Course Rules & Safety

Swim Safety Info:
